I don’t like it, in the language of your choice is what was advertised but I can neither find the exact series I want either in English audio or even English subtitles even after subscribing for all languages still most of the old series I want to watch don’t even have any English subtitles

The iPad app needs serious improvement. When I tap on a TV show or web series, it immediately starts playing the first episode instead of showing the list of available episodes. This creates a very poor user experience.
If I’ve already watched Episode 1 and want to continue with Episode 2, I can’t simply select it. I have to wait through the ads, let the episode start, go back, and even then tapping the show again just opens Episode 1 instead of letting me choose another episode.
Please add an episode list screen before playback starts, or at least provide an easy way to browse and select any episode. This is a basic feature that every streaming app should have. I hope the iPad app is improved soon.

Very Poor First-Time Experience – Ads Keep Freezing and Playback Issues
I started using ZEE5 for the first time, but unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. Whenever I’m watching a movie or series, the ads that play in between frequently get stuck, even though I have a strong and stable internet connection. It’s extremely frustrating because the app doesn’t recover on its own. Even after completely closing and reopening the app, the ad remains stuck. The only way to continue is to open the episode again, but then sometimes the episode plays only the audio with no video. I have to repeat this process multiple times before I can finally watch the episode properly. This issue happens repeatedly and seriously affects the overall viewing experience. I hope the ZEE5 team fixes these playback and ad-related issues as soon as possible.

I am giving ZEE5 a very poor rating for their FIFA World Cup coverage due to repeated, unacceptable streaming problems.
- Frequent app crashes: The app would crash repeatedly, especially during halftime and at critical moments like the semi-finals and final. Each crash forced me to fully close and reopen the app, causing me to miss several minutes of live action.
- Persistent loading/UI issues: A loading button frequently overlaid the video, blocking the view. This got worse over the course of matches and across multiple games.
- Severe video quality problems: High-arcing balls and aerial play caused noticeable flickering and pixelation. The HD quality was inconsistent and poor at times when clarity mattered most.
- Audio/clip sync and playback glitches: The app sometimes treated goals or fouls as abrupt playback failures, interrupting the experience and causing confusion.
- Unreliable playback recovery: After a crash, the app often failed to reload the live stream immediately. Reconnecting took time and often resulted in missing key moments.
These recurring technical failures show that ZEE5 lacked the infrastructure and testing required to reliably broadcast an event of this scale. For an audience as large and passionate as India’s football fanbase, this performance is unacceptable. I urge ZEE5 to either fix these systemic issues before bidding for future live sports rights or refrain from taking on broadcasting rights they cannot support.

Rubbish Streaming Service
I am trying to watch a few shows in the UK on my Apple TV 4K device and I am connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable and still it’s buffering every few minutes and sometimes every few seconds. The streaming service is rubbish and paying for a substandard subscription. All other streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Shemaroo and stream absolutely fine and only have problems with your streaming services. You really do need to improve your streaming services. I will certainly not be renewing my subscription until you have made improvements.

Check the number of outrages faced during FIFA 2026
- Took away the rights of watching FIFA world-cup as there is no other option except ZEE 5
- Taking extra money specially for FIFA subscription
- As a fan I purchased the 3 month plan for 1 device as no one in family is interested other than me. But after watching quarter and semis I was eager to see the finals but instead of watching a match I have to write this review.
- Coz i am not able to see the match due to error showing number of devices exceeded though i know I am the only one awake and trying with single device only. Still i go to settings and removed all other devices many times and tried in Mobile, TV, laptop, each gadget 4-5 times.
- Contact us, Help support chat, FAQs all checked, Tried in different devices but error is the same. Tried purchasing new subscription but showing you have active plan so that also didn’t work.
- Specially waking till 2:00am and trying to stream final match for 1.5 hours i had to write this with anger and very disappointed service from Zee5.
- Cancelling all the subscriptions.
Everyone deserves at least any sport’s bigger tournaments final match rights.

Zero Star Application
I have been using this app for the last 40 days to watch the World Cup, and I can confidently say it is the worst app I have ever seen in my life. It is completely unusable, constantly crashes, and has turned what should be an exciting tournament into a daily exercise in frustration. And the absolute worst part? The Ads. Every single time the app tries to hit an ad break, the entire system completely hangs and freezes. You are forced to close the app and start the agonizing 15-minute loading process all over again, missing crucial moments of the live match.
Before customer support tries to paste a generic reply blaming my network: my internet connection is super fast. Every other streaming service works flawlessly in 4K. This is entirely a failure of your broken, poorly optimized software.
Ridiculous app. Avoid at all costs if you actually want to watch live sports.

Poor App
Poor User interface, subscription packs would be worth it if the content was organised better, good content is hidden with how everything is laid out. No chance to preview, watch a trailer or read a description of the content, content just starts.
Pathetic app
Nothing works properly. Takes ages to sign in. Gets crushed at high load. Even IRCTC does a better job.

1. I have 4k plan but can’t stream 4k in laptop or pc. Their excuse is max supported resolution in laptop is just 576p that too in 2026. Terrible.

Premium Subscription, Terrible Streaming Experience
I have a yearly Premium subscription, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. ZEE5 simply does not work properly on my projector. Movies and live sports either keep loading indefinitely or fail to play altogether.
What’s frustrating is that the issue is specific to ZEE5. Apps like Hotstar, Apple TV, and SonyLIV stream live football, cricket, and movies flawlessly on the same projector and internet connection. This clearly indicates that the problem lies with the ZEE5 app.
Paying for a premium subscription and not being able to watch either movies or live sports is unacceptable. Please fix the app and improve its compatibility and performance. Until then, I cannot recommend this service.
