Worst app - login issues everytime
Worst app logs out every week and this time no option to login in back . What is the use of having a membership when you can’t login account .. very frustrating and one more force updates next annoying thing . If u don’t update you can’t use the app . Most of the time goes there .

I was forced to take 4K version Dolby as the App version won’t be showing any other plans, expect the highest plan. That’s kind of cheap strategies pulling audiences to pay the highest plan. I was shocked by looking at other plans when I opened the Zee5 Website through browser. Also, the Dolby is the worst dolby I never experienced. I had the Dolby Atoms Samsung 11.1.4 at my home and I had the worst experience with Zee 5.

I have paid for this application twice no use still is not activated and I have lost my money
I have done purchase of 3 months pack cost of 15 pounds the subscription not activated waste of purchase this happened for me two times when I try to contact customer support no response one of the worst service and worst application I ever see in my life do not buy this this application waste.
Glitchy and troublesome
The only thing worse than this app is the web browser version. They successfully ruined the World Cup which is actually free and easy to watch in other countries. How did they do that?
1. Forced people to subscribe for 3 months or a year, when the WC runs for only about 5 weeks.
2. Once subscribed, the app and browser doesn’t recognise your account has paid the money.
3. I had to log-in 3-4x every session for some reason.
4. The first time I was not able to rewind during a live broadcast. Previous years, this was possible. I’m not sure if this is Zee5’s fault or a change in the way it was broadcasted.
5. The maximum quality being 1080p and not 4K. I also heard some people were stuck at 720p. What kind of quality is this in the year 2026?
6. Only being able to watch one screen at a time after paying that much.
7. This is the first time every break has been riddled with ads and the broadcast doesn’t show enough of the players and the matches. Even the final, they cut to the pundits and didn’t even keep it running till the team left the stadium.
All in all, I feel the bulk of us have been robbed. I still have that silly sub even though the WC ended 3 weeks ago! None of their content looks good and I don’t think the price is justified or that the service delivered. My favourite bit was when Jio started streaming the World Cup for free and I could stop relying 100% on Zee5.
Goodbye and good riddance. Please do us a favour and don’t bid on any other competitions unless you are able to provide a good service to the millions of us that will tune in.

I paid for a 1-month subscription, but it only allows Malayalam content. To watch Tamil, or any other language I need to pay extra ₹129 again.
On top of that, I still see ads even after paying. This is very disappointing. I won’t be subscribing again.

I don’t like it, in the language of your choice is what was advertised but I can neither find the exact series I want either in English audio or even English subtitles even after subscribing for all languages still most of the old series I want to watch don’t even have any English subtitles

The iPad app needs serious improvement. When I tap on a TV show or web series, it immediately starts playing the first episode instead of showing the list of available episodes. This creates a very poor user experience.
If I’ve already watched Episode 1 and want to continue with Episode 2, I can’t simply select it. I have to wait through the ads, let the episode start, go back, and even then tapping the show again just opens Episode 1 instead of letting me choose another episode.
Please add an episode list screen before playback starts, or at least provide an easy way to browse and select any episode. This is a basic feature that every streaming app should have. I hope the iPad app is improved soon.

Very Poor First-Time Experience – Ads Keep Freezing and Playback Issues
I started using ZEE5 for the first time, but unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. Whenever I’m watching a movie or series, the ads that play in between frequently get stuck, even though I have a strong and stable internet connection. It’s extremely frustrating because the app doesn’t recover on its own. Even after completely closing and reopening the app, the ad remains stuck. The only way to continue is to open the episode again, but then sometimes the episode plays only the audio with no video. I have to repeat this process multiple times before I can finally watch the episode properly. This issue happens repeatedly and seriously affects the overall viewing experience. I hope the ZEE5 team fixes these playback and ad-related issues as soon as possible.

- Unreliable playback recovery: After a crash, the app often failed to reload the live stream immediately. Reconnecting took time and often resulted in missing key moments.

Rubbish Streaming Service
I am trying to watch a few shows in the UK on my Apple TV 4K device and I am connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable and still it’s buffering every few minutes and sometimes every few seconds. The streaming service is rubbish and paying for a substandard subscription. All other streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Shemaroo and stream absolutely fine and only have problems with your streaming services. You really do need to improve your streaming services. I will certainly not be renewing my subscription until you have made improvements.

- As a fan I purchased the 3 month plan for 1 device as no one in family is interested other than me. But after watching quarter and semis I was eager to see the finals but instead of watching a match I have to write this review.
- Coz i am not able to see the match due to error showing number of devices exceeded though i know I am the only one awake and trying with single device only. Still i go to settings and removed all other devices many times and tried in Mobile, TV, laptop, each gadget 4-5 times.
- Contact us, Help support chat, FAQs all checked, Tried in different devices but error is the same. Tried purchasing new subscription but showing you have active plan so that also didn’t work.
- Specially waking till 2:00am and trying to stream final match for 1.5 hours i had to write this with anger and very disappointed service from Zee5.
- Cancelling all the subscriptions.
Everyone deserves at least any sport’s bigger tournaments final match rights.

Zero Star Application
I have been using this app for the last 40 days to watch the World Cup, and I can confidently say it is the worst app I have ever seen in my life. It is completely unusable, constantly crashes, and has turned what should be an exciting tournament into a daily exercise in frustration. And the absolute worst part? The Ads. Every single time the app tries to hit an ad break, the entire system completely hangs and freezes. You are forced to close the app and start the agonizing 15-minute loading process all over again, missing crucial moments of the live match.
Before customer support tries to paste a generic reply blaming my network: my internet connection is super fast. Every other streaming service works flawlessly in 4K. This is entirely a failure of your broken, poorly optimized software.
Ridiculous app. Avoid at all costs if you actually want to watch live sports.

Poor App
Poor User interface, subscription packs would be worth it if the content was organised better, good content is hidden with how everything is laid out. No chance to preview, watch a trailer or read a description of the content, content just starts.
