About

Zeeland Getijden is the dive assistant for the dive sites of Zeeland, the Netherlands, and the wrecks in the North Sea. See at a glance when the current is calm enough to dive, plan your dive days or months ahead, and handle everything at the water's edge, from buddy check to shore watch. DIVE WINDOWS FROM THE REAL CURRENT FORECAST A tide table gives high and low water. Zeeland Getijden takes the dive windows from the Rijkswaterstaat current forecast for each dive site, including the effect of wind and weather. You see when the current drops below 0.2 m/s, when it turns and when it picks up again. Dive windows after sunset are marked. METEO TIDE • Current speed and direction through the day after tomorrow, per dive site • Map with all dive sites, the NOB emergency plans, filling stations with their gases, and a route from where you are • Compass that points the current direction on site • Latest measurements nearby: current, water temperature, wave height, air temperature and wind • Up to three favourite sites, or the nearest site automatically 3D MAP See the bottom of the Oosterschelde in 3D, with depth contours and the Zeelandbrug. Draw your dive route with its length and depth, add stickers, photos and notes, and share your dive plan with your buddy as images or a PDF. ASTRO TIDE The astronomical tide of every tide station in the Netherlands, for every day until the end of next year. With high and low water, flood and ebb, sunrise and sunset, twilight, moon phase and spring or neap tide. For sixteen Oosterschelde sites the app converts the tide of Stavenisse with a correction table. NORTH SEA WRECK DIVING Current, wave height and tide at the wrecks off the Dutch coast, with dive windows around slack water at sea. On the wreck map you slide through the day with a time bar and see the route from your boat to the wreck and your home harbour, with distance, course and your boat's speed. CLIPBOARD • Your certifications and nitrox certification, with a photo of your card • Diving medical, emergency contact and fit to dive • Steel, aluminium and carbon cylinders, cylinder inspection and regulator and equipment service, with a warning when something is due • Weighting: per configuration your lead, water, suit, undersuit, BCD or wing and cylinder, exportable as CSV • A dive QR code with your details and cylinder pressure, for your buddy or the shore watch SHORE WATCH A complete dive list: scan the divers' QR codes, drag them into groups and record time in and out, air in and out and maximum depth. After the dive, share a PDF report with your club logo by mail, WhatsApp or AirDrop. CHECKLISTS Own-gear check, buddy check, the NOB site check (Check de Stek) and a 3-step plan for your tidal dive, with the correction table relative to Stavenisse. Plus the NOB instruction videos (in Dutch). AT THE WATER'S EDGE AND AT SEA The app keeps your favourite sites and wrecks stored two days ahead by itself, and one tap saves the currents, the tide and the 3D map, so you do not depend on mobile coverage. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS No account and no server: everything you enter stays on your own device. Free, in English and Dutch. Note: the data comes from Rijkswaterstaat but may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always check the conditions at the water's edge. The app does not replace dive training or safe-diving judgement, and the maps are not meant for navigation.
