Seit Jahren ein guter Begleiter
Herausforderung: Seit Sommer 2025 werden Fotos von Ausrüstung nur noch auf dem Endgerät angezeigt, auf dem es hochgeladen wurde. Auf anderen wird nur eine graue Fläche angezeigt.
Hilfreich aber leider etwas träge
Soweit ganz in Ordnung, allerdings braucht die App lange um zu laden. Mit aktuellem Apple Update ist die Darstellung bzw. das Wiedergabefenster sehr klein geworden.
No cell, no ballistic info….
I use Zeiss binos for hunting and competition. If I want to quickly verify my ballistic profile or dope while in the field so I trust my bino HUD, I cant access the app when there is no cell service because of the way it loads and requires a sign in.
Maybe in Europe there is 5g cellular coverage in every forest, but in North America, specifically the Canadian Boreal forest, there is generally zero coverage. I just tried opening my app in my living room in the city to see if there is an offline mode, and I have to enter a password (like I remember a password from two years ago….) while trying to copy the one time passcode from my email I need to switch apps to copy it, when I switch back to Ziess, the app drops the password reset window and takes you back to the front page for password reset.
This app needs true offline access without passwords at least for the ballistic portion. It’s frustrating such a premium optic has such a clunky app. I don’t even get the option to use a different app for ballistic data because the binos will not connect to applied ballistics, an industry standard. I LOVE my Ziess binos, but app is a reluctant third wheel I have to tolerate most days.
