In all historical periods the Samogitian lifestyle has varied from the other ethnographic cultures of the inhabitants of Lithuania. To this day the Samogitians maintaned the strongest ethnic identity in Lithuania. Here we speak a specific Samogitian dialect, which locals call their individual language, our ancient customs, traditions, culinary and cultural heritage are still preserved. All this can be seen and experienced while traveling through the Samogitian highlands.
