A rare gem of a game
I can’t say enough good things about Zen Shards. It’s truly relaxing, has lovely hypnotic visuals and sounds, can actually be played offline, has NO forced ads, has extremely reasonable optional ads for helpful boosts, has reasonably priced optional purchases, and has satisfying progression through multiple incremental features.
It’s also just wholesome in a way that’s hard to define. Everything is genuine and straightforward, and it feels like a labor of love from the developer. My favorite part is that the game earnestly thanks me for the support after every ad I choose to watch or small purchase I make, and sometimes skips the ad and gives me the boost immediately as an extra thank you.
My turn to thank YOU for a wonderful game Mr. Metzger. I’ve been playing for weeks and I’m just as engaged as the first day!

fun idle game
Love this game but….
I really do love this game. It’s fantastic, easy to play and calming to watch. I do however think there could be some tweaks to make it better. First, I think when upgrading the Spark Skills, only the highest tier should be available to choose from. I also like the idea of when restarting to increase the damage bonus, you should also get a reward of X amount of Spark Skills fragments, and the Spark Skills could be turned into some type of “Skills Tree” which would look pretty cool.

Actually Zen & Fun
I’ve played idle games before but this one has easily become one of my favourites ever. The sound design is wonderful and calming, the graphics are simple and strangely mesmerizing, and I love that it rewards you for watching ads instead of relying on “pay to play”. If you want a satisfying and actually zen game, I recommend this one

Idle game done right
Calming, charming, and chill. If you’re looking for a great upstarting game still being developed and worked on that has amazing music and a great gameplay loop, this is it! It’s very relaxing, I can put it on while I’m winding down for the day and not get super hooked like other idle games with loud music. The ads are literally optional, I’ve not seen a single one I didn’t want to see for boosts. It’s free, it’s fun, it’s relaxing, and it’s beautiful.
