2.5.2

File, tag or export a slate straight from the list. Hold a row and the menu now carries Category, Tags and Export, so putting something in Work no longer means opening it first. Pick several and the bar can file them all at once. Add a link with your own words. Insert, then Link, or Command K with a keyboard. The words you choose point wherever you say. Tapping a [[link]] opens the slate it names. It was drawn as a link and did nothing before, on every device. The backlinks at the foot of a slate go somewhere now too. Ask a scanned PDF to be made searchable, and be told what was read. Zen Slate already did this quietly when you opened a scan; now you can ask again when the first pass found nothing. Tidy duplicate slates, in Settings. Two devices that write the same slate before seeing each other both keep theirs. This folds the extras into Trash and keeps the oldest. Nothing is deleted. An iPad with a keyboard now has the Mac's thirteen formatting shortcuts, with the same letters. Command B for bold, Shift Command L for a checklist, Option Command 1 for a heading.
