One Of The Best!
Itâs free. It doesnât collect data. And most important it works as well as any tuner app out there. Iâve tried âem all and this is what I use daily at home itâs always there as a backup on gigs. 5 stars all day long.
Freezes frequently
I love this app and use it all the time but it âfreezesâ frequently. The only remedy is to delete and re-install. Any help? J.

This works. Solid, basic, application -- "does what is says on the tin." The default interface shows notation in concert pitch, but transposition is available if you play a transposed instrument (trumpet, clarinet, french horn, sax) -- a nice feature.

It does exactly what you need, no more no less. And a note to the writer of an earlier review she was having trouble getting the app to work. In my case, it worked fine on the pad forever, but I had to upgrade my iPhone to get it to work there, the retro download that was offered did not work. I would have titled this post âperfectâ but that was used.

Not accurate !!!
The frequency reading derived by this app is not accurate. Three other apps that I tested on my iMac and iPad derived the same tone frequency from my guitar and a test tone generator. This app is off by - 5.0 Hz. For example: a test tone of 80.9 Hz shows up as 82.4 Hz and a test tone of 181.6 Hz shows up as 185 Hz.

This App has issues. For one it doesnât work. The App will open but freezes immediately and is not functional whatsoever.Iâve decided to uninstall this app .

It's good, but can't receive sound from an external device
I like this app which is way better on Mac than the tuner on guitar. The only thing is I have to set the system input as MacBook Air-Microphone. When I set the default input as my Rubix44 USB sound card, Zen Tuner stops working. Would you please make this beatiful and useful app able to work with external sound card?

I only have a USB audio interface for this mini; this app won't use it.

this app works pretty good on iphone/ipad but doesnt seem to work on my macbook. kind of a bummer.

This app is great because itâs just what it needs to be, nothing more and nothing less
Good tuner
I like this app. The almost analog behaviour is refreshing after using tuners that display digital results with numbers. This has one simple line which moves fluidly like an analog amp meter or something. It doesnât jump around or have flashing unreadable numbers like other tuners Iâve used.
