Used to be good
It’s sad that actual Zen quotes are behind a paywall now while the app itself has turned into yet another productivity tracker.
Fantastic
Fantastic material for convincing Apple why we need an app downgrade feature. Truly appalling, I think this might actually be enough this time!
Ruined by ‘upgrade’.
I used to love this simple, easy to use calming app.
But then the upgrade.
Now it’s just another manipulative capitalist greed machine.

Great
I use this daily. Highly recommended
A thoughtful winner
I’ve used this app for a number of years. It’s great and getting better. The larger print helps as well making it really easy to read and absorb the message
Exceptional & insightful selection
I have used this app every morning for the past couple of years and it never disappoints. Excellent selection of quotes from Zen masters past and present, as well as non-Buddhists with decidedly "zen" perspectives on the world. I find the last of these categories particularly illuminating and engaging. Unfortunately, I do have one complaint, which has caused me to lower my rating from 5 stars to 3: Virtually every quote attributed to "Buddha" is very obviously not a genuine Buddha quote (and many of the fake Buddha quotes are actually contrary to basic Buddhist practice). Most of these fake quotes were added in the last update or two; the developers would do well to remove them or attribute them to the correct authors.

Simple, inspiring Quotes
I love the sharing option! It doesnt even navigate me away from the app. This is perfect for a quick read to center yourself.
Great app!
I use it myself everyday.
Daily Wisdom
I never write reviews, and I have been a longtime user of this app. I love this app, but there have been repeated issues with the Daily Wisdom sticking. Please fix this!!!
Daily Zen
Great when it works but Daily Zen has been stuck on the same quote for over 6 weeks now. Developer doesn't respond to emails - clearly doesn't care.
App stuck
App stuck on same quote for weeks. No fix from dev team. Good when it works.
Zen wisdom app- pretty great!
This app has a really nice selection of quotes from the Buddha, Dalai Lama, etc. The only problem is the "zen wisdom of the day" often gets stuck on the same quote until an update is available (which is why I give it 4 stars and not 5). Regardless, this is still one of my favorite apps! Great layout, easy to use. Very calming. I love how you can add a particularly good quote to a favorites list. I use this app when I wake up in the morning, to ponder the quote over the day. Besides the glitch, this app is the best! Namaste!

It's been stuck on the same daily zen for a week and a half. Is the universe trying to tell me something.

I love this app
Great quotes, always loved it, but the new update looks awful aesthetically.
Great App.
This app. is a great way to start the day. It causes me to think and consider the world in new light. I really like this app. Plus it's positive concepts.
Simple, amazing
Has a great selection of quotes, sayings. etc. I recommend for anyone that enjoys zen sayings and philosophy
Read it daily
This is part of my daily routine - it helps me be mindful during my journey. I also enjoy sharing the bits of wisdom with my friends & family.
