What's New in Zephyr

3.6

August 31, 2026

Pools that explain themselves When a pool isn't healthy, Zephyr now tells you why, in plain language, on the pool card and in full on its detail screen. Previously you got a bare "DEGRADED" and had to go to a desktop to find out what it meant. Pools needing attention sort to the front, and a pool that's quietly flagged while still reading ONLINE no longer shows a green dot as though nothing were wrong. API keys A new API Keys screen lists every key on your server, with create, rename, expiry, regenerate and delete. Each user's keys also appear on their own page. It also surfaces something TrueNAS hides: deleting a user doesn't delete their API keys. Those entries stay on the server indefinitely, and nothing else shows them to you. Zephyr flags them and can clear them out in one go. Containers (TrueNAS 26) The LXC containers introduced in TrueNAS 26 are now supported. Start, stop and restart them, and see their state, storage, network and attached GPUs. Containers running with root mapped straight through to the host are flagged as privileged. WebShare (TrueNAS 26) WebShare shares sit alongside SMB and NFS, with create, edit and delete, plus a settings screen for search indexing, passkey policy and bind addresses. Users get a WebShare access toggle. Fixes - User and group IDs no longer show a thousands separator ("UID 1,000") - The second pool card is no longer cut off at the edge of the screen - Corrected "1 members" and "1 networks"

Good tool, but …

… unable to drop hosts, that are not needed anymore.

Fantastic app and great Support

I’ve been using the app for a little while now and I’m really impressed. The interface is clean, intuitive, and makes everything very straightforward. On top of that, the developer is incredibly responsive and helpful. It’s clear a lot of care went into this. Highly recommended!
