The app is really good

I love it it is worth it not to mention also it is good to support the JNovel community the only thing I don’t like about this app is that there is no PDF only ebooks available and Ebooks are not really compatible with the iPhone text to speech function that allows for multi tasking and it doesn’t have a category section or recommendations but like I said you won’t regret it 😇 the only really regret is that a lot of books are not available on the app but you can find it on their website

Slow novel updates

First off the app works as described. Cool. However, in the two months I have had the app it has consistently added titles days after the website. Sometime books are added a couple of days after the website, sometimes it is more like a week later. Given the app’s price this is extremely disappointing.

Stopped updating

Loved the app when I bought it but since mid December it stopped updating even after the website has updated quite a few times. Reached out for support on discord and app developers never responded. Don’t bother downloading this app is dead and doesn’t provide support.

Issues

So when I bought this app I was like okay I can read some things but later on in the app it didn’t load so i don’t know if it froze and I really want to read more and I hope that the issue is fixed soon

Doesn’t load

The app won’t let me sign in after the first time I used it. It gets stuck on the splash screen. Tried on my iPhone 16 pro and iPad and even deleted/redownloaded. It doesn’t work. Would be worth it if it actually worked.

Worthwhile Purchase

Good and convenient service, gives access to many (around 2000 I believe? Don’t check me on that lol) light and web novels from their website.

A little pricy however that is likely because of Apple as this app was cheaper in past iterations and for other app stores than IOS.

An earlier review mentions the app not working and I had a similar issue however customer support is very helpful and fixed the problem within 12 hours.

Works good for what it does

Before you buy this app is just like the website but zero ads and wait timers. Its pretty much pay to remove ads permanently. Definitely recommend. It even shows the latest content so you know what just dropped.

it works extremely well with my text to speech app. Just one click to send over and start reading the file.

Didn’t mean to buy this app

I didn’t know that this app costs 20! When I got the app, I was never billed directly and I didn’t realize it costs money until I was billed after I downloaded the app. Typically, I need my face id when downloading any new app, so I didn’t realize that I was gonna get charged for the app when I tried to download it.

Has potential

So, let's start by going into detail about what this app is. Instead of reading light novels directly from the app, it downloads the files. Only reason, I give it a 3 instead of a 4 is because the app's $20 and it does the same thing you can do on the website for free.
