Every time I open the app it crashes
Wonderful Customer Support!
My husband and I had been diligent users of Zest for well over a year, and had problems logging in after some device updates occurred. Zest was absolutely wonderful to work with and went above and beyond helping us fix the problem! In addition, the app itself with the questions and games has been such a fun way to start meaningful conversations and helped my husband and I create wonderful memories! I would recommend this app to anyone looking to strengthen their relationship in a heartbeat!!

Such a waste of money
Such an insane cash grab for an app riddled with bugs. Questions are mid, don’t waste your time or money lol
Incredibly terrible product
Tried it out and everything is so confusing, the layout didn’t really make sense and they kept asking me to pay
Making me pay to send my partner a message is ridiculous
Think about how stupid it is to make people pay to send a cute message to their partner when we all can literally just send a snap or a iMessage text change it back to being free it completely pointless to be making people pay to send a message
Flawed get to know you questions
The developers must not realize people stay married longer than 5-10 years, because that is the max length of your relationship there is an option for.
Widgets don’t work
The only reason me and my partner chose to get the app is because we wanted the widgets, those that say the amount of days we have been together, and it doesn’t work, it says I have to add the anniversary on the app and we already did that. My partner can see the amount of days on the widgets but I can’t. There’s a lot of glitches and if you don’t get the premium there’s really nothing you can do with the app.

My husband and I love the new widgets!! Sending each other photos and messages is the highlight of our day! We also love the daily questions. Thank you!!!!
Used to Love
When I first got this app, my partner and I were really enjoying it — besides the actual questions and activities, it sparked a lot of extended conversation. So much so that I reached out to see if they would consider being able to have multiple partner connections (we’re polyamorous).
There were a few features to be improved upon a) it’s annoying that every time you exit a question/conversation, the screen automatically goes back to “In Progress” instead of staying in “Completed”
b) it would be nice if the app notified you of a new addition to any conversation and not simply the first responses. It’s easy to miss new messages or to know where they are without checking all of them
c) diversity of daily questions — often they seem grouped together by theme and get a little worn out. For a while it was “conflict”, lately there’s been a lot of “intimacy”.
Anyway, a few months ago I reached out to support because my app was no longer showing me the additional chat. So I could see when my partner answered the question and when I did, but anything after that my partner could see but I could not — even things I was writing. Support was responsive for a bit but ultimately weren’t able to replicate the issue, so it remains unfixed. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, as well. This left my partner way less inclined to participate as the conversations haven’t been flowing.
More recently, there have been 2-3 days with no questions at all. I’m very disappointed in this app and it’s no longer serving any real purpose.

Please don’t waste your money
I am begging you, if you are having any issues in your relationship, do not spend your money here. It started out promising, and was helping us to reconnect and learn more about each other. Now the daily questions are all about sex and todays was about how you would prefer to be cheated on. We thought this would help us to reconnect on a deeper level with more wholesome topics, but unfortunately these developers are too tainted by the evil in this world. Their daily questions are the very things that are straining several marriages. Past this, the glitches are annoying at best, and the repetitiveness is so prevalent that it is truly not worth purchasing. I would say we might have gotten two good weeks out of it before all of the content repeated. We have decided to delete, and wish we could get a refund.

Good overall app but…
It was an amazing app to have with my partner but when I unpaired us I still got notifications including their name (question of the day), along with a 6 month reminder.

everything costs money
you can’t play a single game or take a single quite or do ANYTHING without spending money. if that’s how an app is gonna work, just make the app cost money, instead of getting a bunch of people to download it, make an account, and just have to delete it right after cause it doesn’t work. i’m sure the app is great, if i could actually use it

Cancelled before trial was over and still was charged
The app itself might be great for some but just not for us. The biggest problem was we decided before our 7 day free trial was up to cancel and was still charged for the year. I sent an email and so far haven’t heard back.

Not available on play store
Would love to try the app and it’s got me interested from what I can access via the App Store howevery partner can’t download it from the play store and website playstore link goes to apple somehow.

We have been loving the daily questions. It’s crazy to think how much this app has helped us grow closer by giving us fun discussions to get know each other better. Instead of eating dinner by the TV we talk! We do the date nights Zeat suggests! We take the spicy quizzes!!! We really feel like we invested into our own happiness with this app. I mean this app really opened a whole new part of our relationship and we’re very grateful for that.

This has been a super fun app to bring into our relationship. We’ve been enjoying the date ideas, daily questions, and especially the question card packs for couples.
