ZhioTreel

ZhioTreel, an almanac for the landscape screen. Four benches on one board; none of them related, all of them useful. Of the Sun. Sun Arc: pick a place, set a date, drag the time rail. The sun's whole path for the day is drawn, with sunrise, solar noon, sunset, day length, the twilight window, and the length and direction of the shadow an object of a given height casts. Add places by latitude and longitude. Of the Soil. Sow Window: enter your last spring frost and your first autumn frost. Search, filter and sort a forty-five-crop library, then open a crop to read start-under-cover, plant-out, sow-outside, first-pick and last-safe-sowing dates as bands on a twelve-month ribbon. Of Stone. Stone Loop: drag from cell to cell to lay one closed ring through every marker stone; the ring turns on each filled stone and runs straight through each open one. Sixty-four boards with walls and gates. Of Figures. Tally Cipher: a ledger sum written in letters. Put one figure behind every letter so the arithmetic comes true, no two letters sharing a figure. Seventy-eight lines. Of Terms. Everything is worked on the device. The first boards and lines are free; the Almanac Key, one purchase, opens the rest.
