What's New in Zhip

1.0.4

May 30, 2021

Important: Fixed issue preventing user to send Zils. This is due to the recent Zilliqa network upgrade which changes the minimum gas limit from 1 to 50. This version introduced for the first time a text field in which you can specify the gas limit, and increased the default from 1 to 50 so that you can send Zils again.

$10,000 lost

The app only works for deposits. Withdrawals don’t execute. You can report the issue on GitHub to resolve, but to no avail. Use the Atomic Wallet!!!!
The wallet is a scam....

Hello, thanks for reporting your issue. Please first note that as long as you have your private key, you can never lose your Zillings, you can just simply import the private key in ZilPay, Moonlet, Zillet etc. Now to your unfortunate issue. This fall Zilliqa updated the minimum gas price to 0.002, if you increase from 1000 Li to 2000 Li (=0.002 ZIL) your transaction will go through. Refer to https://github.com/Zilliqa/ZIP/blob/master/zips/zip-9.md#zilliqa-core I'm currently updating Zhip to reflect this change. Of course I should have updated Zhip this fall when the change was made. You are absolutely right about that. But I got very very sick because of COVID-19 and then my family got sick too, so I just have not had the time or energy. I recently found that the report issue on Github link was broken, I'm fixing that now. I've also responded within a couple of hours on Github about this specific issue: https://github.com/OpenZesame/Zhip/issues/120#issuecomment-762231979 Sorry for causing you worry. But all Zillings are safe! Take care! best regards Alex

No support & no resources

Attempted to send my zilliqa to another address and the appt won’t allow it. When attempted to contact support it brings me to a 404 error GitHub page indicating the the page has been taken down /removed or the link is broken. So I have my zilliqa just sitting there in the wallet with no means to access it for external use. This application is trash. Don’t use it. Use atomic wallet at least you can buy zilliqa and stake it there. Save your money and headache.
