This has been a great asset in the first year of having our new puppy. The step by step day by day lessons are brilliant, bite size training and advice each step as your dog develops. The ability to be able to ask a real person no bot advice and strategies has been brilliant, they reply really quickly with advice and strategies, a great tool. And now as our dog continues to grow the training develops with us.

The app has been wonderful for training my puppy at the right time. And also training myself to reassure that I am doing it correctly.
Training modules are great, trainers not as much
I got a free trial of this app through Purina rewards. The lessons/self led modules are very easy to follow and I enjoyed them. The information in them is no different to a book I got for free at the library but I can see the appeal of how it walks you thru each step. However the one time I used the trainer chat I was very taken aback by the results and would not use it again. I asked if it’s ok to have my puppy sleep in her pen for now while I work on introducing the crate, or if I should make more of an effort to get her to sleep in the crate instead of the pen. The response made it seem like I was asking if I can put my puppy in the crate for 10 hours at a time and said my expectations are off-I didn’t share any expectations, just a question. The trainer said my puppy may not be able to be alone until she is 10 months old. That really took me aback because how would anyone get anything done? I absolutely do not expect to leave my puppy for hours at a time, but everything else I have read and heard from her veterinarian suggested to get her used to being alone for an appropriate amount of time based on her age. I thanked her for the advice and said my puppy is fine being left alone (again not for long) She doesn’t whine or bark, and usually plays with her toys then falls asleep. The trainer’s response was that it is likely she’s not happy but is afraid of predators so she wants to stay quiet….while shaking her toys around and having fun? I deleted the app.

Sign up sucks!
Was never able to sign up. I signed up with my email and when I when to sign in nothing happened. No message of what was wrong just went back to the same page again and again.

Don’t waste your time or money, you’re way better off watching Zak George on youtube for free. I signed up for free because I adopted a dog and got her insurance which gave me 3 months of this app for free. Well it’s useless so I wouldn’t pay a dime for it. It doesn’t even ask where your dog is with training. It assumes it knows everything about your dog and its needs through just their age..? My puppy is not yet five months however she knows how to sit. She’s crate trained she knows down, leave it and drop it. I need training that builds off the tools we already have not starting all over from the beginning and badly. Does not seem to be science or experience based training either. It’s like a bad language app for dogs. Don’t waste your time or money, you’re way better off watching Zak George on youtube for free.

Loving this app for my new baby girl Chi, Mina💖 . Very helpful, helps as she will be in bed with me so I can skip the crate training and set up a safe space for her 🙏🏽
App is broken
Downloaded the app hoping to jump right into dog training. After going through some of the questions, it asks me what breed my dog is. No breeds show up at all. Deleted, reinstalled, and same thing. No breeds showing up and I am unable to continue. Probably a great app but I wouldn’t know because the app is broken and won’t pull up the breed of ANY dog.

What I like about this app is that you feel that both you and your puppy are in the journey together.
The learning pathway easy to follow and if your furbaby needs some extra time on an activity or skill, another opportunity appears later on.

A little buggy!!
Enjoyed using the app but it’s showed that my dog has been 80% of its full size for 4 months now. Unless it’s due a massive growth spurt out of nowhere!

Good app and learnt a lot
The app is good, the lessons, FAQs all great. The walking information is awful and can never be relied on. Last week it was saying my 7 month old god needs 2 160 min walks, this week it says 2 25 min walks. This isn’t an isolated blip, but happens all the time. It does create doubt and makes you double check other info with other sources

Inconsistent messaging from coaches
I like the structure of the app but have pretty much stopped using it after a ‘coach’ told me it was unrealistic to expect my puppy to stay alone at four months old and that it is like sending a toddler to college. That my puppy might not be able to be left alone until he is 10 months old! This flies in the face of all other training we have received and certified trainers have told me this is bananas. We have basically abandoned the app at this point. Some of the content we got through was good but

Freemium
I’m so tired of apps NEEDING a subscription service. It’s dumb and unnecessary. Make apps free again or at least just have a free trial limit where you can only access like three lessons a day, and not make it to where you get one free lesson and then have to pay. Spent more time making my account than I actually got to learn before it demanded my money. 🙄
