Uneven zestimates
They will give an empty lot next to your house a higher zestimate than your house. Don’t use Zillow if you want to sell your home for its actual value. Customer support won’t even respond when asked why. Zillow is worthless and should be shut down.

Broken widget on iPadOS 27
I would give the app a better rating but the widget shows up as a blank on iPadOS 27, one would think Zillow would work to test these things in advance. It’s the only app I have with a dead widget. Nice job Zillow!

paid 35 dollars to submit my application for a highly in demand property. It failed to pull my credit report, leaving it incomplete. Im unable to edit the verification portion of my app, i can’t try a refresh on the report, and I can’t even delete my own application??? I’m on EST and even though they service THE WHOLE COUNTRY, they apparently they only operate their customer service during PST business hours. I already confirmed with Experian that there is no freeze or block on my account/report, so the issue is with Zillow’s atrocious backend business logic. The same logic that has prevented me from reaching out to potential rentals on multiple occasions for seemingly no reason. Probably won’t even be considered for this property now and I only have Zillow to thank for that! Thanks, Zillow!

Incorrect addresses…
My neighbor’s property is incorrectly listed with my address on Zillow.com. This is a total rookie mistake. They are two different properties with different addresses. For some reason, I’m the one who’s supposed to fix this? I’m not a hacker! This is very unprofessional. Btw, I’ve owned my property longer than my current neighbors. This is infuriating.

NO MORE AI
I seriously wish I could boycot AI. The severity far outweighs convenience. Please have an option to disable your ai features. This removes critical thinking from the people, and destroys the environment. No app, product, NewTrend~, ANYTHING- is worth using ai if there wont be a planet to exist on or healthy land to feed us. I just want to find a quiet house somewhere, not see that this program has stooped to “convenient search engines!” over human deduction and thought. (Plus, AI decisions are often wrong)

buggy and slow
I’m finding the app quite buggy and slow to update listing information. Feels faster and more accurate to use the regular website.

1- stop with the A.i making the inside of a home looks nothing like what it really does look like.
2- show real photos not a.i
3- should be able to put thumbs down so it don’t populate back up
4- be honest on homes on how they look on the inside some of these homes look nice on the outside but terrible and need lots of work on the inside, to have such a high sales ticket don’t match what the seller is selling for & got trees around the house grounding around the foundation that’s not good at all.

Agent takeover my site
My homesite info is very in accurate and I had agent to seek and he used Zillow and now I’m unable to use my photos of the home I took myself before agent! I’m very frustrated. I went with agent because he stated he had 2 buyers and that was not true. He just wanted the lusting.

Zillow Supports Rental Scams
Just like the title says, Zillow doesn’t care if people are posting fake rental posts as long as it’s list is populated. Try reporting a unit and it takes you directly to a generic webpage. Try using their contact form and they have removed any topic related to reporting a scam.
Scams run rampant
The functionality of the app itself seems to work well. My issue is the scams. And you cannot report a scam listing in app, you have to go to the website to do that. I've interacted with two scams so far, and avoided others that are clearly scams, and Zillow has no recourse or follow up or accountability for these listings. I use them instead of Craigslist, but it's just as "wild". I guess as long as they're getting paid... just be careful.

Not user friendly for FSBO
Trying to make changes to your listing is near impossible and when you contact customer support they never answer.
One annoying thing…
On mobile the app has me sign-in over and over again when trying to access my inbox.
I would understand a once-more, additional multifactor authorization to access it but I will literally do the extra sign-in, glance at messages without closing the app and then be asked to sign in AGAIN.
Endlessly.
