Bugs Galore
App is riddled with bugs. Riddled. I don’t normally leave reviews for anything but i was sooo excited for this feature for a goft i’m sending out as a suprise for someone. Downloaded the app, and initially it would not scan the portrait image, after multiple attempts and reboots of my phone thinking my phone is the issue then deleteing and reinstalling the app. It finally worked for a little while, but eventually just stopped working again. Had a back and forth with the customer service reps who are apparently working with the developers of the app for fixes and basically responses from the developers are making it out as if the issue lies with your own device and the way you are scanning it, if too much light or not enough light etcetera. This, this is not even close to the actual truth if the matter. The issue lies with the app itself. As i came to write this review. I decided to give the app another go, and now its just completely dead. Not scanning, nothing. Just a space holder now. I am being patient and waiting for the actual portrait to be delivered and i will try once more with the physical portrait as opposed to the digital image (which i think, it doesn’t matter which one you scan, digital or physical, it should work either way). If ending in failure, Deleting the app right at that moment. Though it is such an amazing idea and when i was told about it, got me so excited and i thought this would be such a great surprise for the recipient, that excitement quickly died and turned into annoyance. At this current moment in time, the app is a complete waste of time and space.
