Crashes on iPad

Cannot set up on iPad running IOS 14.0.1. It crashes as soon as you go into settings.

This app will not work on iPad

Download the new zipvision pro app ...it works on iPads ...been waiting for this ....customers now happy.....

Fix please

When I open the app on my iPad and add a device it won’t let me change the amount of cameras and sets it to 1 automatically. The camera that I want to see is not camera 1. The thing is it works on my phone and I can change the amount of cameras. Please fix this and I will give the app a better rating.

Not fit for purpose

App is unusable on an iPad Pro 9.7 inch, on iOS 13. App constantly crashes when trying to access the device. App on an iPhone 11pro max is also flawed, there is no plz preset control, the app does not remember the presets that you save within it. Not very good when in front of the client. DVR is their new Supa ZIP system, not a patch on the MegaHero. If I could give. O stars I would.

Useless for DVR systems

Works with NVRs but won't work on Ipads with DVRs, just keeps crashing. Doesn't accept notifications. SystemQ have been telling me that the new, updated, super duper app is on its way. They have been telling me this since December 2019, yes folks, 5 MONTHS ago. If you are installing a Zip DVR for your customers you will look like an inept monkey when they try to use the app.

Buggy

Review from IPhone 10S

App randomly crashes.
Connecting via device ID doesn't work when using a static IP.
Connecting via remote IP (dyndns, ports forwarded etc) does not work when not connected to the local network.
I won't go into detail about the DVR itself as this is just for the app.
Using this system due to no availability of an alien system - the alien app is much more streamlined & less clunky.

Unfinished and clunky

It allows you to see the camera views. Poor user interface, clunky, not intuitive, replay part of app not well written, colour coding of recordings according to motion etc. stopped working and cannot be reactivated in app.

Pretty poor.

Zip cctv from systemq

So much better than the Mega Hero app but has a few flaws
1. When opened app first time it shows about 8 windows/pages for about 55 cameras. There doesn’t seem to be anywhere where this can be reduced down to just 16 cameras ( as per the 16 channel DVR).
2. You can drag and drop cameras around on the app screen, brilliant. At moment I only have one audio input for camera 1. Does the audio move automatically if you move a camera to a different position (audio wired separately from the camera on the DVR).
Overall, this DVR is so much better than the Mega Hero unit and using the app is very good. I’m sure that more use will reveal other questions

With reference your second question audio is linked with the channel which the audio is plugged into. Unless you have plugged the audio straight into the back of the NVR, in which case that audio is specifically designed for two way talk back. Kind Regards Robert ZipNVR.com Support Team
