Dark camera
How am I supposed to take a photo/video if the screen is black I would give this 0 stars if it would let me 😡😡😡
Doesn’t work on iPad at least
The biggest problem is, as another reviewer mentioned, the animal keeps flipping itself upside down and when I try to correct it the animals just start spinning very fast. And even when I get a snippet of it working right there’s often a leg or something else missing. I really wish it worked right because it looks amazing from what I can see. There’s educational info, the sounds, and the animals look quite real. Plus there’s a good number of animals to try. But it does need to actually work. I haven’t tried it on the iPhone, so I don’t know if it’s better there.
Also, on the iPad the app opens in the landscape position but once you pick your animal it flips to horizontal position. I don’t know if that is causing the problems, but either way, I’d prefer it just stayed in landscape when I pick an animal. It’d just be simpler.

Lots of fun
When I learned how to do right, enough light and contrast,
The results are stunning. Different ipad also made it better.

Moving virtual animals
Nice
Serendipitous
Took me a sec but I lucked out in getting it to manifest. Magical.
Love the update
Very nice. Great educational tool. I had so much fun entertaining all my family with this. Good job
Great for your Classroom!!
I have been using this app for 2 years now since I saw it demonstrated to me at TCEA. This app is a great conversation starter or even to further engage your students. I'm not sure about the other review which states issues with the iPad version, I've only used the iPhone version. However, the devs are VERY responsive to feedback. The greatest part is you only need a dollar bill to get started, so try it out at home or in the class easily. I loved the Richard Attenborough style narration to further give stats on the animals. Our students really enjoy taking class photos with the animals and I've done quite a few with animals in their hands! Overall a wonderful immersive app.

Lots of kinks
I saw this demonstrated at ISTE and was so excited to try it out. I have official Zookazam targets and everything. It's a great app in theory, but the pay need to work out the technical issues. The camera on the iPad is always flipped for som reason. No matter how you turn it, it wants to be upside down. It also makes the animals show up upside down. They can't stay on the screen very long. I was really disappointed and hope they come up with some fixes before the new school year starts.

Waste of $$$
It's almost impossible to get this to work. You're better off playing with the free version.
Wish I could get a refund.

Awesome app!
This is an amazing resource for the classroom. Highly engaging and informative!
Magic leapy
Took me a minute to figure out the no marker part and the need to have contrast and lots of light but it works and it's easy. I opted out to print out the target from their website and it is easy sailing from there. I emailed them about some wrong animal information they have and they told me they are updating all the information on their next update in few weeks. So I say they are on top of it and the app is amazing and educational and totally entertaining. Kept the kids busy most of thanksgiving weekend.

Make Your Kids Say Wow!
My kids (7 & 4) LOVE ZooKazam. I gave them a sneak peak before school and the first words after school: "Dad, we want to do ZooKazam." The animation is top notch and the commentary is very informative. Every preschool and elementary school should have this app in their toolkit.
Epic Educational AR App
This is hands-down, the most impressive augmented reality app I've used yet. The tracking, both with and without a printed target, is some of the most reliable I've seen. The animal models look great and have high quality animations. Add in the educational features to the already impressive technical feats, and you have an app that will impress all of your friends.
Also, it has dinosaurs. Need I say more?

Fun app
Enjoyed interacting with this app. Cool stuff! I would recommend.
Totally awesome!
I was blown away by the detail that has been built in to each image. My kids have a ton of fun with it and I enjoy the fact that my kids are learning interesting facts about animals.
5 starts all the way
What an awesome AR app!! Honestly one of the best I've ever seen. One thing I would suggest is new users take a moment to run through the tutorial - really helps you understand how the app works and how to best use it. Well done Zookazam!
WOW
This is the most amazing app I've used. I can't believe this technology exists. Very fun.
Watch the tutorial first
I was confused at first about how to use the app, but once I saw the tutorial for how to set up a new target, it was smooth sailing. I use the app all the time with my nephew taking photos and videos. He really gets a kick out of it.
Very Cool 3D APP
This is really cool! My kids, ranging from 6-11 love this app. It smoothly renders 3D, interactive animals, bugs, birds and dinosaurs and is packed with facts.
One of the coolest apps I've seen in a long time!

Not even ready for beta.
Cool idea, I had high hopes.
But this is nowhere near ready for release. Buggy, glitchy, difficult to use. There's no way for a young kid to enjoy this app, or for a teacher to effectively use it in a classroom setting.
Keep working, guys. You're not there yet.
