greatest thing ive ever downloaded

i absolutely love this app, ive always had problems downloading vns but when i got this app i managed to download and play many vns i wasnt able to play used paid launchers or signers, im so grateful for this app

Hmm

Good app for some reason the sample game narcissu doesn’t work after the update but it was exactly my type of game. It feels good to play vns on phone finally it’s annoying to sit on a pc only to read vn lines

Hello! Narcissu was bundled with a much older version of ZScripter - but was replaced with a smaller and more explicitly permissively licensed sample game. There was a short migration overlap but not long enough IMO- sorry about that! Glad you find this enjoyable.

This has to be the best way to play visual novels, before I was manually creating ipa to sideload my favorite visual novels, now I can play as many visual novels as I want and it isn’t a chore to get them running, Thank you for creating a free visual novel player

Very powerful engine

Had no issues running any Ren'Py games I have downloaded on my computer. The web importer is super useful too instead of USB.

Thank goodness this is free!!

As both a player and developer of VNs, is exactly the app I needed to have access to my finished projects on the go for when I want to reference them (and enjoy them)! The only improvement that I would ask for is to allow more file formats for images, video and sound when importing games (for example .webp, .webm, .mp4, etc). I would love to download my web builds from itchio whose original files I lost track of! But yes, this app is lovely so I hope it stays free!!

Hello, thank you for your kind review :) This app will always remain completely free without ads. Files should not be getting stripped from the import, so I will look into this and address this in the next update along with more Ren’Py stability fixes as well as a potential Itch integration!

The best VN player so far!

Literally the title. Though if possible I’d like to be able to play VN games from Tyranobuilder (Tyranoscript) and other Japanese VN games with different engines like Kirikiri and more.

My old CD which used an NScriper is working flawless

The web importer was useful to me because I had no way of transferring the files to my phone. I wish there was an easier way to transfer over USB cable through iTunes orFile Explorer.

Small bug

When I click the skip button, sometimes it does not skip the game even though the button is highlighted

Couldn't get it to work

I tried to install narcissu 2nd and 10th anniversary but neither of them worked theyre just stuck in a black screen. At least a tutorial or something would be nice.

Hello, thank you for your feedback! Narcissu 2nd Anniversary is as PONScripter game, and 10th Anniversary is a Majiro game, neither of which the engine advertises to support. PONS support is coming in the next update along with compatibility notices :)

I can finally play VNs on my phone

Love the concept of this app. It would be nice to be able to sync saves from my computer to my phone if this could be possible in a future update.

Works flawlessly

Wow I’ve been looking for a way to read my old VN games on my iPhone for ages without having to jump through crazy hoops. Currently re-reading my old copy of Higurashi in bed and have runs it super smoothly. So glad I found this!
