ZX Action Software
What a piece of rubbish this software is, I installed on iPad and iPhone and whilst I can get it to connect to wifi it did not go past that and therefore I have had no use of the software. I was only interested in the live mode anyway but I would have purchased another brand if I had known that the software just could not be used, and how mush time I would waste trying to get it to work. The “warnings” in the app just dont make sense and is just another example of lazy development without even a decent attempt to translate into any sort of English that actually describes the issue in a way that you can react to. Its shameful.

I bought my ZXM-AC3 18 months ago for an overseas trip but it didn’t get used & has sat in the cupboard since. Tonight I loaded the app to my iPhone and like others I had trouble getting the wifi to work.
In the end it did connect and although the app is very basic, it works for me. I’ve only rated the app and experience in getting it sorted so far, I’m planning to take it out tomorrow and have a play to get a better idea of how it all works and if I might revise my current 2 stars or not.

The app is horrid
I can’t connect to the app as the app won’t connect to the internet and every time I turn the internet on on the camera it comes up with info that I can’t get out of unless Turning off the wifi
Does not connect to camera
Like many others I am unable to connect the camera in the app. I have reset the wifi on the camera I have deleted and reinstalled the app but it just times out over and over again

After buying a ZX-ACTION-40 I initially gave this app a 1 star as I couldn’t get the app to load let alone use , however i than read another review that said “After selecting the screen-40” as the wifi choice (a fact the manual doesn’t state (or I couldn’t see)) and hey-presto it worked and worked very , while it’s not a professional editing app (I don’t think it states it is) it’s good enough to give basic camera control via the app & upload great quality photos & video .. and have the price of another certain over priced competitor , recommend the camera & recommend the app

Does What it Says
Turn on the wifi in the camera settings then connect your phone wifi to the camera, then open the app and connect the camera to the app by selecting the camera as the wifi source you have connected to the phone it might take a couple of attempts to connect. When it finally connects to the app it works perfectly.
