Beautiful!

This game is so stunning and the music is awesome. I love the concept and it is very clever. Highly recommend you to check it out. The style of the game reminds me of Tetris Connect and the game play reminds me of a modern version of Snake - which for me is a combination of two of my favorite games. Well done!!

Have problems moving arrow to the exit. I have a screen protector on my phone and it makes it hard to move the arrow to the exit and it says failed every time. Also it should be easy until level 20 then get harder.

Response from developer

You can’t actually place an arrow on entries and exits, only on empty slots and stars. But thanks for the feedback I will include that message in the tutorial.

Highly Recommended!

An exceptionally creative, fun, and unique game featuring great graphics and soundtrack. I’m having a blast playing it! Well done!

not too difficult

nice progression, i like the minimal aesthetic and the music. surprising how many possible puzzles the seemingly simple base mechanic can unlock. nice for short sessions of puzzle solving.

Expect more

For forcing someone to pay $1.99 to even access this game feels scammy considering the gameplay is the same thing over and over again. This could’ve been a free game with the option to pay $1.99 to remove ads.

The gameplay is very dull and repetitive. You have to play a 5th of the game before you unlock a 4th type of arrow mechanic.

I feel this game could be so much more. Don’t box your game in on itself. Expand some of its core principles that make it stand out. Give some teleportation lines, add collisions rules for some levels, make bridges/tunnels, etc.

I think this is a great concept, but being forced to pay for this isn’t it.

Response from developer

Thanks for the detailed feedback. I do want to clarify though that I don’t think “scammy” is a fair description of Zyl. It is a small paid game at $1.99, with no ads, no IAP, no tracking of personal data, and no payment to remove annoyances later. What you see in the screenshots is what the game is. The slower progression is intentional. I wanted the game to feel calm and relaxing, not overwhelming too early. A lot of the variety comes from how the existing mechanics combine across levels, rather than constantly adding new mechanics. The later levels make you use upto 8-10 arrows with multiple entries and exits and it becomes quite challenging to find a good path with them. That said, I understand the point about wanting more variety sooner and more mechanics, and I’ll add that in future updates as new level packs. I will also consider ramping up the difficulty faster. Thanks for playing and for taking the time to share specific thoughts.

Great game

Nice relaxing puzzle to kill some time

One of the best puzzle games I’ve played

Beautiful

Lovely puzzler with interesting mechanics

Beautiful and fun

Great music, very easy to learn and advance. Enjoyed much

Great game!

Like the classic water pipe flow puzzle games but with a lot of variety and depth in the different elements you have control over. Really polished and relaxing, great pacing for introducing the mechanics.
