Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NOSSCR at none against Quimbee's 2. NOSSCR also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Quimbee's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quimbee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. NOSSCR asks for nothing beyond the download.
NOSSCR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quimbee has 2.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Quimbee ships an update fortnightly, NOSSCR every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
