Using Scan & Scribe you can convert your Printed/Typed Docs and Handwritten Notes (written in unconnected writing) to editable document that you can Copy, Save, Listen or Share via Facebook, email (Outlook, Gmail etc.), WhatsApp, Dropbox, OneDrive etc. Its stand out feature is its separate offline OCR engines for Printed and Handwritten contents. It is simple to use: 1. Take a camera shot of docs or handwritten notes (or load it from gallery). 2. Crop and/or remove skew in the intended text in the snapshot. 3. For text extraction from the cropped image, remember to select Handwritten option for hand written texts and Typed option for typed/printed ones. 4. Review the extracted passage, make corrections if required. Incorrectly converted words will be highlighted. 5. You can now convert the text to speech for listening or save it for future use. 6. You can also share it via Facebook, email (Outlook, Gmail etc.), WhatsApp, Dropbox, OneDrive etc. Remember: 1. If image’s text direction is not from left-to-right, rotate the image. 2. All other things should be cropped except the desired text passage to be converted. In case of snapshot from smart phone camera: 1. Take desired snapshot i.e. paper, receipt etc. in bright environment. 2. While capturing image, avoid shadow of the phone and/or of any other object. 3. Properly focus the image in bright environment. Turn on flash if required. At present, app does not properly support following features: 1. Pictures of text on the notebooks having lined pages or ruled paper. 2. Pictures having multi-color background. 3. Images of curved pages. 4. Languages other than English. Acknowledgement: This app is the result of Pakistan's National ICT R&D Funded project "Smart Intelligence - An OCR Engine for Android and iOS Smart Phones" executed by Abasyn University Islamabad's Renzym OCR Research Group.

KosherChat is a capable AI assistant built for Jewish life — with a thorough kosher content filter and thoughtful support for the rhythm of your week. Ask questions, draft messages, do deep research, attach photos, and keep your conversations and memory in one place on iPhone and iPad. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Chat with a capable AI — everyday questions, writing help, research, and more • Get Shabbos times (zmanim) and weather based on your location • Set reminders and view tasks in Today • Attach photos and files from chat • Save Artifacts from your conversations — code, documents, and previews in one place • Install Skills — reusable instructions for tasks like email drafts, Shabbos planning, or research • Create custom Skills with AI (paid plans) • Connect Tether to run tasks on your computer from your phone (Pro) • Optional Google integrations on Pro — Gmail, Drive, Calendar • AI instrumental song generation on Pro plans KOSHER BY DESIGN — NOT JUST IN NAME Most AI assistants have no guardrails. KosherChat is different. Advanced built-in content filters block inappropriate, explicit, and offensive material by default — no settings to toggle, no loopholes. It’s an assistant you can open without hesitation, in any context, around anyone. BUILT FOR JEWISH LIFE KosherChat understands the rhythm of your week — candle lighting times, zmanim, Shabbos planning, and halachic questions answered in plain language with real sources. One thing we take seriously: KosherChat will never pasken. When you ask a halachic question, it brings down the relevant sources — Shulchan Aruch, Mishnah Berurah, poskim — explains the considerations clearly, and directs you to ask a qualified Rav for a final ruling. That’s not a limitation. That’s the point. An AI has no business paskening, and ours never will. PLANS • Free — generous daily chat limits, no credit card required • Pro — $29.99/month: more access, premium models, Google apps, Tether, and optional extra credits • Pay as you go — buy credits when you need them; credits never expire Subscriptions and credit packs on iOS are purchased through the App Store. Restore purchases anytime from Account → Billing. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your conversations are between you and KosherChat — not a public social feed. Notifications and location are optional and help with reminders and zmanim; the app explains each before iOS asks. You can delete your account anytime from the app. KosherChat provides informational assistance only — not professional rabbinic, medical, or legal advice. For halachic decisions, always consult a qualified Rav. Privacy Policy: https://www.kosherchatai.com/web/privacy Terms of Service: https://www.kosherchatai.com/web/terms
