Allma 2.0 vs Feltlogg

Allma app is a map application that helps to solve tasks for forest owners, officials and entrepreneurs. This version has a lot of new functions. You can log into your forest management plan, your region or your mission. You can activate the GPS to find out where you are in the terrain. Insert a point in the position you are in or make a tracklog. You can edit the stand comment, add new action and edit existing actions. It’s also possible to measure length and area. You ca draw point, line and polygon. You can choose various map types for your needs. A keystroke in a stand brings up all constituent information. All functionality is available both online and offline. This makes it possible to use the app in areas without mobile coverage. Registrations you make in the solution are synchronized into the Allma-database. The next time you log into the web solution, the registrations from the app will be visible. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

The Feltlogg-app is a component in FeltGIS' forestry platform. The intended users of this app are only forestry machine operators running harvester/forwarders/fellers with a Feltbox installed. The Feltbox is a mini-PC bridging the forestry PC and the Feltlogg app. The Feltbox is provided by FeltGIS. After a successful installation of the Feltbox, connect your iPad/iPhone to the Feltbox Wifi, using the credentials provided with the Feltbox. Now you can start the Feltlogg app, and you will be able to start synchronising files from the forestry machine PC to the Feltlogg app. Any file type can be synchronised, and we have included parsing support for all StanForD-standard file formats. For more details of the StanForD file formats, please consult the Forestry Research Institute of Sweden (skogforsk.se). Contact us for more details regarding installation of the Feltbox. When we register a new box in our systems, we may also set up an optional cloud destination for the box. If this destination is set, files synchronised to the Feltlogg app can be further synchronised with a cloud service for further processing. Customers may choose to synchronise with our cloud services, or run our servers on premise. Some of the supported features: * Send attachments (project descriptions, instruction files, etc) directly to the forest machine's PC using email. * Automatically synchronise StanForD-files generated by the forest machine with FeltGIS' or your own servers. * Synchronise data from your servers into the forest machine's PC. * Present StanForD-files as PDF-reports directly in the app.
