How can you support your child’s reading at home? You want to know whether your child truly understands what they read—but reading every book alongside them and coming up with questions each time isn’t easy. BeeLit makes it easier to support your child’s reading at home. Kids can turn the books they already love into fun reading comprehension quizzes, while parents can keep track of what they’re reading and how they’re progressing. Kids can check their understanding, think more deeply with open-ended questions, and build better reading habits—all with the books they choose for themselves. ■ FUN READING COMPREHENSION QUIZZES Simply search for the book your child just finished and start a quiz. Fun comprehension questions help kids check what they understood—and give them a reason to pay closer attention to important details as they read. ■ GO BEYOND RECALL TO DEEPER THINKING Reading isn’t just about remembering what happened. Open-ended questions encourage kids to think about characters and events, form their own ideas, and express those ideas in their own words. ■ SUPPORT THEIR READING WITHOUT READING EVERY BOOK YOURSELF You don’t have to read every book first or come up with questions on your own. BeeLit helps you see what your child is reading and support their comprehension, making it easier to build a consistent reading routine at home. ■ TRACK WHAT THEY READ Books and completed quiz results are automatically saved. See their reading history grow and easily keep track of the books they’ve read and the quizzes they’ve completed. ■ START WITH BOOKS THEY ALREADY LOVE BeeLit supports more than 1 million titles, from picture books and children’s literature to comics and graphic novels. Instead of assigned passages or worksheets, kids can build reading comprehension and literacy skills through books they choose for themselves. ■ A FUN ALTERNATIVE TO BOOK REPORTS Skip the long book report. After finishing a book, kids can jump into a quick quiz and keep the reading experience going. For kids, it’s a fun reason to read more closely. For parents, it’s an easier way to support reading at home. Make every book count with BeeLit.
