Passengers are required to pay a booking fee of HK$100 for each journey, and the booking fee will be collected along with the metered taxi fare as set out by the government. [SynCab Selected Personal Taxi SPT] Another prime service offering of SynCab, the SPT allows passengers to book 20 minutes prior to their journey. Moreover, our system would calculate and provide a fixed-price taxi fare of the journey at the time of the booking. Passenger can make in-app credit card payment conveniently upon confirmation of the booking. The advanced fee calculation and advisory give our passengers peace of mind. They will not need to worry about changes in taxi fare due to traffic jams or sudden route alterations, hence better arrangement can be made in advance. [Make booking for your loved ones] SynCab has added a ‘passengers list’ feature which allows you to add and save your passenger names and phone numbers for future bookings. You can simply select a name from your list to complete the booking for your passenger quickly and conveniently. Remark: SynCab’s booking fees do not apply to taxis hailed in the streets. Passengers can choose to pay the fares by cash, credit card or e-wallet. What is HKSOS? HKSOS is the most important outdoor safety app designed to save lives and speed up the response time of rescue services in life-critical missions. It is directly linked to the 999 Call Centre and becomes your lifeline in an emergency. HKSOS generates unique SOS signal that can be picked up by emergency units even in extreme conditions. When SOS is triggered via the app, the 999 Call Centre will be alerted and provided with your precise location information so that emergency teams can swiftly reach you for assistance.
