Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Supersonics Plus at 80% against SKApp's 33%. Supersonics Plus also leads on ratings volume (21 vs 1). SKApp's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
SKApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Supersonics Plus has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of SKApp's written reviews are positive against 80% of Supersonics Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
