The app is designed for carriers, drivers and jockeys in charge of moving vehicles. It lets them receive pending Moveecar transport orders, that is, orders not yet assigned. The carrier can then see the order details: first of all its price, but also the map, the duration and distance of the planned route, as well as information about the vehicle and the requested delivery date. The carrier can accept or decline a transport order. The order then moves to the β€œApproved” status. The carrier can then start executing the order, which covers going to the pickup, carrying out the pickup, going to the delivery and carrying out the delivery. 1. Going to the pickup / delivery: the carrier is geolocated, which lets them see the distance between their current position and the place where the vehicle is to be collected or handed over, contact the right person for that location, and open their favourite navigation app (set in the settings) to carry out the transport. 2. Carrying out the pickup / delivery: the carrier can take photos of the vehicle, contact the people on site and have the collection or handover of the car signed for. The user is guided intuitively throughout the life of a transport order. They can also view the history of their trips and the related invoices. The app settings let them set up their user profile, the language of the app, and their work area so they only receive orders within their scope.
