Gear Lab vs Streamliner

These calculators have been developed to help in the Setting up, Production and Checking of the gears available via the Ultrascale web site. Three of the main types of gears are covered, these are Worm gears, Helical gears and Spur gears. The flow of the app has been setup in such a way as to allow for the calculators to be used on a individual basis, using minimal information to output the basic data required, or as a complete process flow from start to finish. For example, starting at the worm then creating a matching worm wheel and then to output the base tangent data to allow the gear to be checked.

A breakthrough for enabling proactive decision-making in projects We defined the optimization problem that project management needs to solve and how it is different from the problem that most academicians and the resultant available tools try to address. Our innovation is a multi-tier data model for planning to enable the creation of a good starting solution that remains unaffected by the realities of projects. We have built a decision support system to provide reliable projections during the course of execution. And, we outlined the support that it can provide to different levels of management for pro-active decisions. With the help of the above, we simplified the existing management practices and outlined the best practices to exploit the capabilities of the system to the fullest The key contributions that we bring to the table are • Project control room for decision-makers with live reports of portfolio and projects • Prioritized task, subtask management module for frontline managers • All types of progress report update module for micro-level activities • Managing day to day prioritized issues without co-ordination • Meeting and action items management • Full kit to monitor the preparation of task
