This scoring application is intended for use with the Lafayette Instrument Company Purdue Pegboard Test (Models 32020 and 32020A). It assists administrators in all areas of the testing process by standardizing administration through easily set up test batteries with optionally read instructions, creating organizational norms, and keeping track of individualized data. The Purdue Pegboard has been used extensively to aid in the selection of employees for jobs that require fine and gross motor dexterity and coordination by measuring gross movements of hands, fingers, and arms, and fingertip dexterity as necessary in assembly tasks.

WristSkill turns your iPhone into a wrist performance and rehabilitation tool. No external hardware required. Tilt your phone to move a ball through a precise sequence of targets. The app measures how efficiently your wrist moves across six clinically relevant planes of motion, tracking Time Efficiency, Path Efficiency, Hit Rate, and Reaction Time for each hand independently. Designed for use alongside occupational therapists, certified hand therapists (CHTs), and physical rehabilitation programs, WristSkill gives you objective, repeatable data at every stage of recovery from post-surgical rehab to long-term proprioception maintenance. HOW IT WORKS Performance Mode runs a structured six-trial protocol: Horizontal wrist movement Vertical wrist movement Diagonal (two planes) Circular clockwise Circular counter-clockwise Each 30-second trial is self-paced with a recalibration step between trials so you always start from a clean position. The app measures how efficiently you reach each target and how smoothly you trace circular paths producing scores you can track over time. Practice Mode lets you isolate any individual movement plane or run a randomized sequence ideal for targeted exercises prescribed by your therapist. PERFORMANCE METRICS Time Efficiency how quickly you moved relative to the physically optimal time for that distance. Higher is better. Path Efficiency how directly you moved to each target (linear) or how consistently you tracked the guide ring (circular). Higher is better. Reaction Time how fast you initiated movement after a target appeared (linear segments). Hit Rate percentage of targets reached within each trial. All metrics are composite scores built from all six movement planes displayed per trial and as an overall session result. PROGRESS TRACKING AND REPORTS WristSkill stores a baseline and full session history separately for your right hand and left hand. Each new session is compared to your baseline with trend indicators so you can see at a glance whether you are improving. Share your progress with your therapist or care team with one tap. The app generates a complete formatted Progress Report image you can send via Messages email or any app on your device. All performance data is stored locally on your device and is never automatically uploaded or shared.
