Grantwetter vs Sky Wizard

Grantwetter is the weather app that tells it like it is. Instead of “cloudy” you get the grant-o-meter from 0 to 10 – and a persona who grumbles along. And when it gets truly awful, the app cheers you up: with recipes, rain and fireplace sounds, a breathing exercise and a sticker album for weather survived. WEATHER THAT GETS YOU • Grant-o-meter: temperature, rain, fog, wind, grey days and even Mondays in one number • Around 700 lines that match the time of day, the weather and the temperature – fresh insults at the weather every day • Today's high and low, sunrise and sunset at a glance • Forecast for 24 hours and 10 days – with a day overview: hourly rain, wind, UV and sunshine hours • UV index at a glance: from UV 6 your persona nags you about sunscreen, from UV 8 the grant goes up • Rain radar: when the rain starts, how hard and how long – to the minute, in Austria and Germany with radar data from GeoSphere Austria and the German Weather Service • Snow gets its own announcement and its own lines • Severe weather alerts • Schadenfreude radar: where is it even worse right now? • Sun countdown: when will the sun be back? COMFORT ME • Comfort push: on miserable days you get one line from your persona about the weather in the morning – a tap opens “Comfort me”. Nice weather? Nothing. • Comforts that match the weather: iced coffee in the heat, a blanket fort in the rain, mulled wine in the cold • Real rain and fireplace sounds and a breathing exercise • Poke the grumpy cloud and keep your poke streak: a smile a day, stickers at 3, 7, 30 and 100 days • Sticker album: a sticker for every rotten day you survived EVERYWHERE • iPhone Duo: everything at a glance when unfolded, half open like a book – weather on the left, forecast on the right • On iPad everything at a glance: today, 24 hours and 10 days with the day overview side by side • Home screen and lock screen widgets • Apple Watch app with complications • Three designs: Grant Brutal, Grumpy Cloud and Tabloid • In English, German and French – the lines written separately for each language GRANT PASS (OPTIONAL) Try it first: all designs and personas free for 7 days, no subscription. All designs and personas – Granny, the burnt-out coach, the drama queen and the clerk –, personal comfort written by AI, every comfort, the full sticker album, up to 5 places, your own time for the comfort push, the radar map and the rain alert push. Monthly or yearly; the price is shown before you buy. The subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled any time in your Apple ID settings. PRIVACY No ads, no tracking, no account. Our server only sees an area of about 5 × 5 km, never your exact location. Weather data from Apple Weather, radar data from GeoSphere Austria (CC BY 4.0) and the German Weather Service.
