The clearest difference is rating: Derdost at 4.6 against Anonymous Chat's 4.0. Derdost also leads on ratings volume (30 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anonymous Chat sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Derdost sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Derdost holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Derdost has 30 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Anonymous Chat ships an update every 5 days, Derdost weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
