​Met ruim 2000 leden is de K.S.V. Sanctus Virgilius de grootste studentenvereniging van Delft. Al sinds 1898 heeft Virgiel de hoofddoelstelling om haar leden op sportief, cultureel en sociaal gebied te ontplooien. Alle leden zijn iedere dag welkom om met elkaar te borrelen en daarnaast worden er ontzettend veel activiteiten georganiseerd. Deze activiteiten zijn niet alleen ter ontspanning, maar vaak ook om er iets van op te steken. Alles wat er op of vanuit Virgiel gebeurt, wordt georganiseerd door de leden zelf. Zo zijn er tientallen commissies waarin leden onder andere hun organisatorische vaardigheden ontwikkelen en 7 onderverenigingen waar leden zich sportief, cultureel en muzikaal kunnen ontplooien. Voor iedereen is er dan ook volop de mogelijkheid om op welke manier dan ook het maximale uit de studententijd te halen.
