Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Calculator Construction Pro at 5.0 against This Week's 4.4. Calculator Construction Pro also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). This Week's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 50%) and ratings volume (12 vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. This Week sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Calculator Construction Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.
Calculator Construction Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of This Week's written reviews are positive against 50% of Calculator Construction Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
This Week ships an update every 3 weeks, Calculator Construction Pro every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
