Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
LaRC Alerts holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Space Launch Schedule has 162 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Space Launch Schedule's written reviews are positive against 0% of LaRC Alerts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Space Launch Schedule ships an update every 3 weeks, LaRC Alerts every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
