Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: ViK at 5.0 against HIP·HOP·TV®'s 4.6. ViK also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 15 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). HIP·HOP·TV®'s advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
