Steps

Steps turns anything you do in a fixed order into a timer that runs itself. A HIIT circuit. A recipe. A morning routine. You write the steps once, set how long each one takes, and press start. Steps counts down, tells you when to move on, and keeps going while your phone is in your pocket. THE TIMER KEEPS ITS PLACE The countdown is anchored to the clock, not to the app being open. Lock your phone, take a call, come back ten minutes later — the routine is exactly where it should be, on the right step, with the right time left. BUILT AROUND HOW YOU ACTUALLY WORK • Categories hold routines; routines hold timed steps • Auto-advance moves through a circuit on its own • Or turn it off, and each step waits for a tap — better for cooking, where "until it looks right" beats a fixed timer • Rest between steps, with a per-step override when one needs longer • Leave a duration at zero and the step simply waits for you • Every step can carry an instruction, shown large while it runs WHILE IT RUNS • One enormous countdown, readable from across the kitchen • A notification at every step boundary, so it works from your pocket • Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island • Sound, haptics, and a countdown cue for the last three seconds • Skip forward, jump to any upcoming step, or start from the middle ON YOUR WRIST The Apple Watch app runs the same routines with haptics on your wrist — useful when your hands are busy or your phone is across the room. Favourites appear first, in the order you arranged them on your phone. EVERYTHING IN SYNC Turn on iCloud and your routines are on every device, in step. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No sign-up. No analytics. Your routines are yours: they live on your device and in your own iCloud, and nobody else can see them. Available in English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
