Both are free to download. QuietAlert sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and TimeRoom sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
TimeRoom holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuietAlert has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of QuietAlert's written reviews are positive against 0% of TimeRoom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
QuietAlert ships an update every 12 months, TimeRoom weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
