Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: BookBub at every 3 weeks against Roxbury Public Library's every 10 months. BookBub also leads on ratings volume (961 vs 9) and chart position (#62 vs unranked). Roxbury Public Library's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
