IPMask vs NetReach
Price, ratings, monetisation and update history for both apps, side by side — with what reviewers say about each.
IPMask
This utility helps calculate IP network addresses and subnetworks for IPv4. It assists in understanding IP addressing functions like host identification and location addressing within a network. The tool is useful for dividing networks into smaller subnetworks through subnetting.
- IP network address calculation
- Subnetwork subdivision
- Host identification
- Location addressing
- IPv4 support

IPMask works out an IPv4 network from an address and a mask: network and broadcast address, first and last host, number of hosts, netmask and wildcard. • Type the address the way you have it: 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.1/22 or with a dotted mask. • Move the mask slider and watch the 32 bits split into the network part and the host part. • See the address type at a glance: private, public, loopback, link-local, multicast. • Switch to the binary view to see the address, netmask and network bit by bit. • Copy the whole result as text or share it. • On Apple Watch: enter an address with a keypad, turn the Digital Crown to set the prefix and read the result on your wrist. /31 point-to-point links (RFC 3021) and /32 host routes are handled correctly. Made for network engineers, students and anyone who sets up a router at home. The app works offline; it needs a connection only for the small ad banner.

PROBE - HTTP, HTTPS, and TCP probes with full timing breakdown: DNS, Connect, TLS, TTFB, Total - Up to 10 parallel connections per test - Save probe configurations and rerun with one tap TRACE - Hop-by-hop traceroute with ICMP and TCP modes - MTR mode: multi-cycle traceroute with Loss%, Avg, Best, Worst, StDev per hop - Detects ICMP rate-limiting vs real packet loss PING & DNS - ICMP ping with packet loss and jitter stats - Multi-resolver DNS comparison (Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, system) - DNS deep inspection with interception detection TLS INSPECTOR - Full certificate chain: leaf, intermediates, root - Expiry countdown, key algorithm, SHA-256 fingerprint - Tap any certificate for full details. Export as PEM. MONITOR - Network Quality Score (0–100) from real probe data - Wi-Fi ↔ Cellular transitions with SSID, BSSID, IP, GPS - Wi-Fi roaming detection between access points - Push notification delivery latency measurement WI-FI vs CELLULAR - Simultaneous comparison on both network paths - Statistical breakdown: Min, Avg, P90, Max per timing phase BUILT-IN SERVERS - TCP and UDP echo servers for LAN latency testing - HTTP status endpoint with live device metrics EXPORT - CSV export of all probe results and events - Diagnostics ZIP with structured logs - Share from any tab ENTERPRISE - Deploy via MDM (Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, SimpleMDM) - Stream telemetry to Datadog, Splunk, Grafana via OTLP or Splunk HEC - Automated probe suites with SLO monitoring - TLS certificate expiry alerts across your fleet - Privacy controls: exclude GPS, SSID, BSSID per policy - Event-level filtering: choose exactly which telemetry to send PRIVACY - No account required - No tracking, analytics, or ads - Consumer data never leaves the device unless you export it - Enterprise telemetry flows directly to your platform — we never see it Built for network engineers, security teams, IT administrators, and anyone who wants real answers instead of "try restarting your router."

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IPMask at none against NetReach's 1. NetReach's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
