SHUTR Connect™ The SHUTR Connect app allows you to configure the SHUTR electric sliding damper and all other components of the SHUTR® family of products. The products are primarily designed to improve the efficiency of dust collection systems in professional and semi-professional wood working shops and industry applications. The wireless components use the SHUTR Connect™ protocol to interact in a safe and reliable way. The components: • SHUTR Controller (needed to use this app) • SHUTR Gate, an electric, wireless sliding damper • SHUTR Sensor, for detecting that a processing machine is turned on • SHUTR Remote, a remote control The wireless components are easy to install, no specific knowledge required. No network setup needed. Once installed, gates will automatically open and the dust collector will be automatically switched on if a processing machines equipped with a sensor are activated or if a remote is used. This reduces the health hazard for workers and saves energy as the dust collector is only switched on when needed. The SHUTR Gate is an electric sliding damper that complies with the CE/ATEX 114 safety regulations. The SHUTR Connect app connects over Bluetooth with the SHUTR Controller and lets you combine the different components by pairing them in logical series.
