Binder
Read full descriptionHide full description
Binder is an unofficial collection tracker for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Every English set from Base Set to the newest expansion is built in, with card images, variants and market prices, so the only thing you add is what you own. SCAN A CARD, DONE Point the camera at a card. Binder reads the set and number, matches it against the whole catalogue and adds it to your collection in a tap. When the number is hard to read, Binder recognises the artwork itself. THE WHOLE CATALOGUE • 20 series, 200+ sets, 21,000+ cards • Normal, reverse holo, holo and 1st edition variants tracked separately • Set and series progress at a glance: what you own, what you're missing • New sets appear automatically, usually the day they're released KNOW WHAT IT'S WORTH Market prices for every card, each dated by its marketplace. See the value of a card, a set or your whole collection. WISHLIST AND TRADES Mark the cards you're after and the spares you'd swap. Both lists live beside your collection. FRIENDS Share a friend code and see how your binders compare: cards owned, sets completed, collection value. Open a friend's binder to see, set by set, what they have that you don't, and send a trade offer: pick from their trade list, or ask for any card they have. Add friends in person with a QR code. Friends see your collection, wishlist and cards for trade, never your email. BATTLE LAB Battle Lab turns the cards in your binder into fighters. An original simulator with no luck plays their printed HP, attacks, weakness and resistance, so you can see what beats what, and why. Every friend fields a team of three from their binder: scout it, build a lineup from yours, then play the battle yourself turn by turn or watch the Lab play it, until you crack it. Practise 5 v 5 too. No friends yet? Take on ten Rivals, set up dream matches between cards from any era, and find counters for any card. Cards you've scanned battle, and five practice runs a day are free. With Binder+, join one ladder with everyone and climb it one spot at a time, with cards you've scanned. Battle Lab is Binder's own game on printed numbers. It isn't the card game's rules. WHAT'S NEW A feed of the sets and cards added since you last looked, and an optional alert the day a new set lands. YOUR COLLECTION, ON EVERY PHONE Sign in with an email address or with Apple, and your collection follows you to any phone you sign in on. Changes you make without a connection sync when you're back online. BINDER+ Binder is free to use. Binder+ is an optional monthly subscription that adds each card's price history, your binder's value over time, alerts when a wishlist card hits your price, Home Screen widgets (iOS 17 or later) and CSV export. New subscribers get the first week free. In Battle Lab it lifts the daily limits, lets every card in your binder battle, and lets you climb the ladder, which uses scanned cards for everyone. It never changes how a battle plays out. This product uses TCGplayer data but is not endorsed or certified by TCGplayer. No ads. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IITC at none against Binder's 1. IITC also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). Binder's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
