Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 100 Animals at 5.0 against Instant Words's 4.0. 100 Animals also leads on update cadence (every 14 months vs every 122 months). Instant Words's advantage is price ($0.99 vs $4.99) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
