PlomGit is a simple open source git client. It supports enough basic functionality that programmers can use it for version controlling their personal files. Repositories are accessible through the Files app, so you can use other apps to work with your repositories' files. PlomGit only supports fetching and pushing through http(s). Account passwords or tokens can be stored separately from repositories, so that repositories can easily share them. The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Clone at 48% against PlomGit's 0%. Clone also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (20 vs 4). Both are free to download. Clone sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. PlomGit asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

PlomGit holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clone has 20 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Clone's written reviews are positive against 0% of PlomGit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency
