Beat Doctor
Read full descriptionHide full description
Beat Doctor analyzes the tempo of the music that it hears in real time as well as songs from your music library. Beat Doctor draws a bar chart showing how the tempo of the music varies over time. You can play back and zoom in and out on the chart. Use Beat Doctor when practicing to see how steady your tempo is, or use it to get a reference tempo of pre-recorded music. Beat Doctor does a pretty good job of guessing tempo, but it can get easily confused as well. Use Settings to adjust parameters of the tempo detection algorithm. Have fun! Like all my apps, Beat Doctor will never collect any information from you or show you advertising of any kind.
BeatKeep

Can you hold a beat after the guide disappears? BeatKeep is a focused silent-pulse check for musicians, drummers, DJs, dancers, and anyone training a stronger internal sense of time. Choose a target tempo, follow five visible countdown pulses from 5 to 1, then tap from memory for 20 seconds. BeatKeep waits until the end to show the answer, so you measure your own pulse instead of chasing a live BPM display. HOW IT WORKS β’ Choose a target from 40 to 240 BPM β’ See a brief ready cue, then follow five visual and haptic pulses from 5 to 1 β’ Tap for 20 silent seconds with a fading ripple for each accepted tap β’ Review measured BPM, accuracy, steadiness, and tempo drift β’ See whether you held steady, sped up, or slowed down β’ Get tempo-aware coaching tuned to how fast you played and how you drifted BUILT FOR REPEATABLE PRACTICE Completed checks save automatically to on-device History, where you can reopen the full result and compare the pulse you intended with the pulse you actually held. Retry the same tempo immediately or return later for another quick warm-up. Work the 60 β 90 β 120 BPM challenge ladder: each rung clears when you hold it with high accuracy, high steadiness, and no drift. NO ACCOUNTS. NO ADS. NO TRACKING. BeatKeep works fully offline. It uses no microphone, network connection, analytics SDK, advertising, or account. Practice History and the haptic preference stay only on your device.
