Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: Wrist Temperature Tracker at none against Thermo's shown. Wrist Temperature Tracker also leads on review sentiment (28% vs 5%) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). Thermo's advantage is rating (3.6 vs 3.4) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Thermo holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 98 and 127 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of Thermo's written reviews are positive against 28% of Wrist Temperature Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
