Visibility Drive vs Archer Driver

Visibility Drive is Easy-to-use. No registration required. Connects directly with the Trimble Freight Visibility customer portal and provides real-time status and location updates making your business MORE RELIABLE. Review Shipment Details & Directions Start and End Tracking Seamlessly Provide Real-Time Shipment Status Updates Capture and Deliver PODs, Signatures, and Exception Photos Instantly Visibility Drive does require the use of Location Services; however, it will not track drivers when they do not want to be tracked. Drivers choose when to initiate tracking and then Visibility Drive will provide background location updates as long as a shipment is in progress on the device. In order to end a shipment’s tracking immediately, select the Shipment Options button and choose “Exit Shipment”. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

The Archer driver app allows truck drivers to access their daily workflow. It displays all the jobs for the day following a defined order. Each job is associated to multiple stops prepared by Archer's dispatchers. Once the driver arrives at a stop he knows exactly what to do thanks to the embedded task list. It helps the driver to make sure everything is in correct shape before going to the next stop. In case the driver has an issue, he always can reach out the Archer's dispatcher team thanks to a live chat. Push notifications and GPS tracking are also included to ensure full traceability of any shipment.
