About

Tempo Pulse

Features

Tempo is a fast interval timer that turns plain workout descriptions into structured intervals you can run. Describe what you want — "8 rounds of 30 seconds work and 15 seconds rest", "tabata", "20 minutes mixed boxing", or paste a list of strength sets — and Tempo converts it into a timed workout with audio cues, haptic feedback, and a clean ring display. If you'd rather skip the prompt, jump into a preset: Tabata, Quick HIIT, Sprint Intervals, Boxing Rounds, or Long Endurance. WHAT YOU GET • AI workout generation from free-form text — type it or dictate it • Tabata, HIIT, EMOM, and custom interval support • Strength block support with sets, reps, and rest-between-sets • Boxing rounds with corner-rest interludes • Built-in countdown timer and stopwatch • Spoken cues in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Polish — automatic language detection from the exercise name • Voice characters: natural, hero, robot, more • Configurable haptic feedback and 3-2-1 countdown beeps • Live "Up Next" banner so you always know what's coming • Per-session summary and history of recent workouts • Multiple themes including OLED-friendly Calm and high-contrast Volt • Workout-complete notification with sound, even when the app is in the background • Auto-dim screen during workouts to save battery • Screen lock with double-tap-to-unlock for pocket protection mid-set • Shake to pause (toggle in Settings) PRIVACY Tempo is built to stay out of your way. No account is required. Analytics are anonymous (no user identifier). Crash reports contain stack traces only — never your prompts or workout content. When you dictate a workout, the audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription and discarded; the text prompt itself is sent to OpenAI to generate the workout structure and is not stored on Tempo's servers afterward. Full details: tempo-eta-kohl.vercel.app/privacy SUBSCRIPTION / PRICING Tempo is currently free. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Premium features (Calendar tracking, Boxing combos) are unlocked for everyone in this release. WHO IT'S FOR • Lifters who want a clean strength-block runner with proper rest tracking • HIIT / Tabata users who don't want to count rounds • Boxers and martial artists running classic 3-minute rounds • Runners doing structured sprint intervals • Anyone tired of fiddling with generic countdown apps
