Both are free to download. Fantasy Tree sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Projector Cat 3D Prank asks for nothing beyond the download.
Fantasy Tree holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fantasy Tree has 8.9K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Projector Cat 3D Prank's written reviews are positive against 15% of Fantasy Tree's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Projector Cat 3D Prank ships an update every 9 months, Fantasy Tree fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
