An app for choral singers who don't read music well. Snap a photo or import JPG, PNG or PDF. Touch notes in the image to hear the pitch. Not for instrumental parts - see details below. Whether you sing in a choir, or a barbershop quartet, or other vocal group, What's My Note lets you hear and learn the pitches in your sheet music. You can repeat single notes or intervals as many times as you like. Use What's My Note? to read published choral music - the kind used by high school choruses, church choirs, musical theater, and barbershop quartets. If you are not sure that What's My Note? will read your music, e-mail us a photo, and we'll let you know. For a demo, please view the video on our website. (What's My Note DOES NOT play scores from start to finish, does not play more than one voice at a time, does not interpret rhythms, does not recognize or play piano or instrumental parts. Hand-written manuscripts and most forms of popular music probably won't work.) You can import PDFs and JPEGs, and use What's My Note's OCR feature on any device. To photograph music, What's My Note? requires an 8 megapixel camera, available on these models (or later): iPhone 4s, iPod Touch 6th Generation, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4.

Korio is the app a choir runs on — for the conductor, the committee and every singer. Scores and part audio, together Open a piece and its score is on screen with the recording playing underneath. Each singer's own part is preselected. Skip back ten seconds, slow the tempo, scroll the score — the audio keeps going. Recordings continue while the screen is locked, so you can listen on the way to rehearsal. Rehearsals and attendance Rehearsal dates, place and programme in one calendar. Attendance by QR code at the door or marked by hand; the report shows who came, who was excused and who doesn't. Optional: verify that the QR was scanned at the rehearsal venue. Stage plans and concert programme Place the choir on stage by dragging singers into a curved layout, one plan per section of the concert. Every singer sees the programme piece by piece with their own spot and who stands next to them. Print the programme or the concert booklet from the same project. Dues and the cash book Dues periods, exemptions, payments and balances. Income, expenses and receipts in a cash book the treasurer keeps and the committee reads. Currency follows the choir. Announcements that reach the right people Send to the whole choir, a voice section or a project cast. Push notifications with a choir-specific sound; unread items stay on the home screen until seen. Everyone sees their own work, nobody sees more Conductor, administrator, treasurer, singer: each role has its own screens and permissions. One account can belong to several choirs. Works offline, speaks four languages Scores and audio you have opened stay on the device. The interface is available in English, Turkish, German and Italian, with choir terminology that fits each language. Getting in Korio is set up for a choir by its conductor or committee. If you are a singer, ask your conductor for an invite. If you lead a choir and want Korio, request it at thekorio.com. Privacy Your choir's data belongs to your choir. Location is used only at the moment of attendance and stored as a distance, never as a route. Photos used for importing member lists are read on the device and never uploaded.
